Suggestions, emotions, reflections on the surrounding world that are condensed into a pictorial gesture with a strong emotional impact which, conveyed by the dense chromatisms, becomes the spokesperson for the inner world of Mattia Milano, whose pictorial poetics starts from an academic study of art and then branches off in a personal research where thought becomes liquid matter on canvas.
In the work Waterfall the artist summarizes the suggestion of the waterfall, recalling the ardor of the splashes of water that thicken and condense in a chromatic explosion supported by the light that reverberates in the water. The observer is literally immersed in this vortex of colors and suggestions. Inner synaesthesia that are condensed into chromatic matter.
It is the curiosity and the desire to experiment that weave the strands of the cognitive research of the Milan artist who, in this case, is based on the material rendering of water as a natural element. A narrative that starts from the investigation of the external world synthesized in a psychic automatism. Thought merges with color, giving life to strong suggestions that are charged with the material impulse imbued with the artistic gesture of the artist Mattia Milano.
An intense art, vibrant with studies, and metabolized impulses according to that psychic automatism of a surrealist matrix that dissolves through color, flares up and is articulated on the canvas, are ripples of thought, the vision of reality synthesized through chromatic matter.

The instinctive pictorial gesture bursts on the canvas giving life to the work Cammello.
The color thickens as if it were liquid material on canvas, it embodies the artist's suggestions that become the narration of extraordinary events recalling the echoes of the thought of Vasilij Kandinsky, according to whom "Art goes beyond the limits in which time would like to compress it, and indicates the content of the future ". The use of color is the key to interpreting the work which has a double value: the physical one which is based on momentary sensations, the psychic one through the spiritual vibration where the color becomes the engine of the soul.
Interesting is the synthesis capacity of Kandinskian theories that emerges in the chromatic and spatial synthesis that is articulated in the work.

Strong is the emotional impact to which the artist is subjected in the encounter with the canvas, the chromatic variations evoke the harmonic scales of a piano, a melody in the making leading the work beyond the synthesis of reality, it becomes a mimesis of reality , an accomplished dialogue between music, art that flows into the liveliest human feelings recalling the theory of Wagner who created operas from him
same care in every single aspect (music, libretto, scenography, theatrical direction). Mattia stands as the composer, the set designer and the director of the harmonic canvas, overcoming the boundary of reality in favor of the pure abstraction of form, drawing inspiration from the natural data in order to rationalize the intimate nature of his feelings, which become concrete by means of the chromatic support.
